Link doesn't work. Everyone else try this. http://www.brentwoodamps.com/

Pretty cool sounding clips! A little too aggressive for my needs, but I liked the clean snippet part. Makes me miss my Tomcat a little. :(

I do not mean the music style but the tone style,I like more smooth and warm sound, and the sound in this clip to me is too much in treble, not fat enough..

That's just my opinion, and there is no such a music can make everyone like it,so is the tone:)

What ever, what you like is most important

Sorry for my poor english, hope you can understand what I want to say:p

That's a great-sounding amp. I love the aggression in the first part and the clean's cool, too (quite rich sounding). The palm-damped chugging was pretty tight, too. :)

Any chance of some Santana/Moore-style legato soloing?

    Dang Brent,

Your enthusiasm for your new Sabre is infectious. I'm raising cash for a car and was going to list my Sabre in the Emporium, but now I keep going back to my studio to play it "one last time"...;)

My Vinetto's tele bridge pickup sounds stunning with the Sabre's boost on and the gain backed down. That's some rich, high calorie tone. If I end up holding on to the amp, I'll see if Randall can install the new adjustable boost-level pot on the back like he described in another thread. I'd like to be able to tame the boost at times.

With the gain and master up at about 3:00 on the clean channel, the Sabre can be a mean blues amp with a great juicy snarl that cleans up great with your guitar's volume knob.

    Enjoy!

If you ever get rid of it PM me......I'm serious. I have 3 guys that are now wanting a Sabre after hearing mine. Now as far as the gain boost which thread was that?

I'll be sure to let you know if I get off the fence and sell my Sabre, but for right now...

lol, Its a great amp IMO and covers so many different styles. The controls have alot of range to make it a warbley about-to-blow up Superlead to a warm smooth sustainy lead tone. :dude

What speakers are you using it with? I have a 412 with Greenbacks and one with G12H-30s.

I just went and bought the only Sabre I could find. Of course it 's a new one so it wasn't cheap but if it sounds anything like the one in your clips I should be one happy camper...broke too:(

I really didn't need to spend all my money but the GAS was killing me. I hope FedEx delivers it tomorrow!

Boston Guitar Works in Brockton, Mass. It was the only one I could find. Anything to ease the GAS pains man. What guitar , cab and speakers did you use to record the clips with? I also hear some delay and chorus, any other fx?

Cool.......Boston guitar has been trying to sell that Aiken for quite a while now. At one time when Aikens business was on hold and relocating they gouged the price above MSRP to $2999

Its just delay for the high gain, verb for the blues, a dash of chorus and verb for clean. My setup is listed on Aikens site. Its toward the bottom. http://www.aikenamps.com/Artists.html
