This thread delivers!
I have woken up in a cold sweat wondering the same thing. They also would be good to throw a reverb out there too.
I wonder why they discontinued their stereo tremolo.
That refernce might point to a future Trem.
I had Dunlop Univibe Stereo Chorus and liked the tone of it a lot, but did not jive with the size and weight. I like the new MCR UniVibe. Similar phasey tones.
Alas, as long as they stay in the analog realm we probably wont get a reverb out of them. That's why Way Huge and/or Dunlop needs to make one!
Could any mxr trem live up to the new EHX trem?
Yeah, because MXR don't fall to pieces like EHX.
Consider the Fulltone
Yeah, there are already so many wonderful tremolo pedals on the market, I wonder if we really need another at this point. Between the Empress, Diamond, and Fulltone tremolo pedals, as well as the dozens of others already available, I'm pretty sure there's already a tremolo for everyone.
The same could be said about overdrives, distortion, fuzz, klons, delays, etc.
Form factor and price are a major reason I would like to see an MXR tremolo.
