I am trying to re-create the guitar tone off of the Cock Sparrer song "I need a witness" off of their Rarities album.

This tone is killer and kinda crunchy/fuzzy/british.

    My setup is a
1978 Marshall JMP 100 super lead
    1983 Marshall 800 cab greenbacks
    1976 Gibson Les Paul Custom

    Any Ideas

You could try contacting Gary "Guitar" Lammin over on myspace. He and I corresponded about gear issues a few years ago, and he was a very friendly guy.
