What do you think is the coldest temperature to safely ship a nitro finished guitar? I have a AVRI '62 Tele that I've been holding off having shipped to me due to the cold weather. I know about the slow warm up process, but what's the coldest temp that's considered "safe" for shipping?

Ask Fender...they ship them to dealers in the Northern US/Canada all year round.

I dont think the cold temp matters, all that matters is all quickly it is warmed up.

It'll probably be fine as long as you let it warm up, but I would also have at least a little concern with the winter we're having.

Also, I don't know where it's shipping from, but I would try to have it shipped on a Monday so that it hopefully doesn't spend a weekend "on ice".
