Coldplay "Paradise" - Synth

    I know little to nothing about Coldplay, but heard "Paradise" on the radio and think it's pretty catchy.
    Anybody know what synth (or good approximation) is used for the huge square wave sound in the song?

    Alot of it is the bass. Alot of it is generic protools plug-ins.
    The guitarist had a korg synth onstage on SNL.

    oh...and brian eno...

    I was wondering how they were getting that sound. The guitarist was doing it ? Nice strat he was plaing

    This is a rerun, but still fun.
    They were running pretty stellar loops- listen for the synth, strings, bgvs, etc.
    He may have just synced the loops or started them...But he played guitar for the main haul.
