To celebrate my 100th post, I thought I'd show off my my new Cole Clark Angel and try to help spread the word on these wonderful guitars. I bought this guitar a few months ago after struggling for too many years on a terrible Fender. The Angel plays like an absolute dream and has a great natural sound. Being slightly smaller bodied, the bass isn't overpowering, rather it's perfectly balanced. There are absolutely no dead spots on the neck, it's a very lively guitar with every note seeming to jump off the board when picked. It delivers a cutting tone (but not shrill) without sacrificing the mid and bass response.

It has a bunya top with rosewood sides and Queensland maple back, with the workmanship second to none. All the binding is timber, and the finish is a thin satin, making for a subdued & understated appearance.

I'm in the process of finishing of an EP in which acoustic guitars play a substantial role. The Angel was used for every acoustic part except one, where I used my dreadnought Fender for a drop D part (more for sentimental reasons than sonic superiority).

My acoustic GAS was been well & truly satisfied with this one, and I think it's safe to assume I'll be hanging on to it for quite a while.

Without further ado, here are the pics (they don't do it justice):

The Angel is a great guitar! I got a chance to play one
    when your fellow Aussie guitarist-singer-songwriter
Jason Lowe was here in the states, and stayed in my
home for a bit. As good or better than anything I've
    played. Beautiful woods too.

I have a FL1A, Fatlady 1 Acoustic Electric. They are great guitars. And you will NEVER find a better pickup system.

I will drink to that! Mine is a FL-2 though, spruce top/ QLD maple sides.

I also have the Cole Clark Strat copy, another great guitar.

Where are you guys getting these at in the States? Also, pricewise, what do they compare to?

Amazing guitars. I have a FL2AC and it is my favorite acoustic I've ever played. I still want a Gibson Sj 200 though just because I love how they look.
