i need a clean amp,an amp that thinks its in overdrive but still clean(that means pushing some sound out very PUNCHY and PERCUSSIVE)something that feels easy to play though its clean(like it feels to play a driven amp) does this exist??
needs to be 35 to 50w as i play clubs,1x12 or 2x12 or 2x10 whatever MUST LOVE A GOOD FUZZ OR OD pedal..
i dont want any features just a simple good clean rock amp(excuse that term) to use w/ my strat..clean,percussive and punchy & loves pedal!! absolutly NO FLUB!!!!
budget dosnt matter anything from $600 to 2 1/2k would be fine i guess....would like a 1 channel amp but if its a 2 channel oh well..
    cheers

    $1000 plus try these:

    Reinhardt JKC - more Marshally
Fargen Blackbird 40 - more Fendery
Dr. Z Maz Sr (38 watts) although I prefer the Jr (18 watts)
Budda SD 30 (only 30 watts, but plenty loud) - channel switcher does both Fender and Marshall pretty well
    Rivera Venus - 36 watts - 2 channels - clean, overdrive
Orange Rockerverb - 2 channels - clean, overdrive

For cheap amps with good cleans I would look at one of the Fender reissues like the Vibrolux or Super Reverb.

for the big punchy cleans a Dr Z Rt 66 is pretty cool....the Z-28 gives the nice punchy cleans too but at lower volumes....

Bogner Shiva or Groove Tubes Soul-O 45 or 75 is worth looking into.

I know I sound like a broken record, but did you try a Vox? You pretty much described by AC30 right there.

Try a Star Gainstar 30. The cleans are nothing short of spectacular IMHO!
