I am looking for a solid leave on compressor. My Dyna-Comp runs way to hot with my tele. I am torn between a few different compressors I like the Walrus Audio Deep Six, JHS Pulp n' Peel, and the Fromel Velvet Vice.

Basically I want something different from the MXR circuit. Has anyone used any of these pedals? Or is there something I am missing?'

    Thanks

I dig my instant lo-fi junky by zvex. its a different type of sound.

I got rid of my dyna-comp, I never liked what it did to my tone, which is odd because i am just telling you how much i enjoy a pedal that degrades my tone... go figure.

Most detailed site around for comparing compressors. More specifically, the Diamond is one of the best "always-on" compressor stomp boxes you can find.

Mirage compressor is the only leave it on comp I've found, and I've been through 35 of them. Diamond, Barber, Okko, you name it.

Wampler Ego comp replaced my Dyna-Comp and does everything I want it to perfectly, hands down.

Plus, Brian Wampler is a hella cool guy with a great company

I like my Keeley 2 Knob Compressor the best.

I also liked the MXR pretty well and the Maxxon that is the size of a Dyna Comp. I actually still use the MXR from time to time.

Tangerine squeeze, hand built by this bloke that... Well, builds stuff. Yours won't look exactly like the picture, but they sound pretty damn good.
