Seriously though, if you like the Keeley and the Analogman you should check out the HBE Comp Retro. One of my favorites.

I love the AM Bi-Comp. It's got two distinct sounds in a small box. Not "transparent", but beautifully colored.

I've been using a Keeley Comp for a while now but I just bought a Barber Tone Press based on the many recommendations from TGP members. I'll give you my opinion after I receive the Tone Press.

I just got a Maxon CP-9 Pro+, which has the actual dbx compressor circuit in it, and it is really nice. It has 3 knobs - Threshold, Ratio & Gain. So you have a lot of flexibility for setting it according to your needs/tastes. Very transparent and quiet.

I also like the Line6 Constrictor, which models the Ross, Orange and an Opto compressor.

Highly recommended.
