I'm considering a Tele build and I'm looking for creative ideas, mods and colors. Leaning towards a rosewood neck but I like them all. Show me yours.

I was going to build one but instead I got a deal on this tele and replaced the neck with what I wanted/needed to fit my hands.

I was looking to build a Tele partscaster and got lucky with this Ash Body on ebay.
I added a Musikraft Neck, Rumpelstiltskin White Knight Pickups, a Gotoh Bridge and Tuners, Callaham Knobs and a Rutters Control plate.

it's dang near the only guitar I play any more, 6.7 lbs of sheer Tele joy

This is my most recent build. Guitar Mill double bound body, WD vintage boatneck finished in nitro satin with a fresh level and crown. Pickups are SD Jerry Donahue bridge and SD firebird neck.

Awesome guitar though I’m still making adjustments to the electronics. I went with 375k pots and don’t care for what it’s doing to the bridge pickup. Will probably throw in 500k pots and use the resister trick so the bridge gets the 250k it wants.

    .

Maple fretboard will give you more temperature and humidity tuning stability. Mix woods and you mix expansion rates.

Here's what I'm playing lately. Esquire-H with both bobbins controlled with a 4-way switch for individual bobbins, parallel, and series humbucker. 16kohm hot humbucker.

    Chunky all maple neck.

    Reverse control plate.

I've been interested in the Rosser stuff after seeing what the MJT stuff is going for lately. Did you paint it or was it pre-painted?

Here's mine. Alder body painted Olympic White, goncalo alves neck with wenge fingerboard, Righteous Sound Revelator pickup set. I have it set up for flatwound strings and it's a great playing and sounding guitar.

    My most-played guitar.

MJT body (which I've hacked up some...)
    Musikraft neck
    FB pickup in the neck

    Meaty and thick sounding guitar.

My Tele project from June 2018. It’s a smuggler body by Forney. Fender neck and pickguard, Schroeder bridge, SD Antiquity pickups. I finished it by hand (no spraying) It sounds phenomenal and I had a lot of fun doing it.
