Yeah, I remember going thru the same decisions. Then I heard and bought a Walrus Lillian and haven't looked back.
Paired with a Julia chorus and Suhr Jack Rabbit, it's about all the modulation I'll ever need.
    Today....

I would give away the flanger. Deja for 60’s-70’s, Hendrix,Trower, phaser for late 70’s-beginning of 80’s, Van Halen, early Satriani etc.,and CE2W for 80’s, Def Leppard and everybody with high hair.

I'd say... try a Strymon Mobius.

    Then have a rethink.

If he is power-limited now, the Strymon would break the bank.
Where is : facepalm : on this 4-bank menu system anyway??

I’ve got the same set of 4 modulation pedals. When you need Vibe, a Phaser doesn’t do it and when you need Phaser, Vibe doesn’t do it.

I’d replace the Chorus and Flanger with a single unit that does both like a Choralflange, SCF or something based on a tweaked Mistress, so can get chorus and flange tones out of one box.

Or, if you have space and not power, use a voltage doubler to power the Flanger or add a Voodoo Lab X4 or GigRig Isolator to get additional taps.

Watch the "That Pedal Show" edition with Mark Lettieri, and you'll keep it on your board.

It looks like the Deja Vibe has some specific power needs. However, the CE-2 only requires 25mA at 9v and the MXR only requires 35mA at 9v. This means you could split the output of a 9v 100mA outlet to power both pedals safely. Most likely the Whirlwind is also around there. So maybe you could free up a power outlet and keep them all. What power supply are you using?

Voodoo sells output splitter cables http://www.voodoolab.com/shop/index.php?cPath=22_24_33&osCsid=bud8q4n6li2uk6trq1ri9rbbd4

I say keep em both... lol. But, if one has to go, ditch the flanger and keep the phaser.

If forced to choose I would ditch my Spectre before I'd ever pull my Wombtone off my board. But, I use heavy Phaser much more than I use Flanger.

I voted to ditch the Flanger based on my own personal bias, but it sounds like you would do better ditching the Phaser.

Buy a gig rig isolator to split a port on your PS and keep all your pedals.

I think the answer is whatever is the easiest/best way to fit in another power supply.

If you disagree and feel a phaser is redundant, well we're different people then.

Voodoo labs makes splitter cables that allow you to power two pedals from one output while maintaining ground.

Every time that I think I can remove my phaser for awhile, I come to my senses and the damn thing stays put.

I tried ditching vibe for a phaser...

The wombtone can cop a pretty solid vibe sound and I’ve been using that.

But I’m going back to drybell. I just really like vibe and the way it responds more than a swooshing phaser.

My vintage re issue type phase 90 only runs on battery, no power jack. Used it once.

Ummmm....add a Snark? Otherwise, time to get rid of the two and add something like a Fulltone ChoralFlange or whatever else allows you to use both effects at once from one box.
