i got this recently on a whim and have not regreted. i am an older new player and wanted to get my chops jump started. this dvd & cd does exactly just that! this method should be taught to beginners from day one. more advanced players can benefit who need a quick way to get beyond basic pentatonic minor stuff.

basically Jimmy shows you how to utilize 13 notes to play in any major or minor scale position on the fretboard.

so if you are at a jam or tryout and they call out a D major, you got it covered now. also the separate cd backing track has a bunch of swinging jam tunes.

    Hey Marko,

Thanks for the tip. Would you say this is video more geared toward beginner or intermediate?

    Thanks.

beginner and/or immediate beginner looking for a quick method to learn how to solo anywhere on the neck. it's different but it works and sounds good. i think there are demo samples on his web site.
