I thought I'd start a fun thread because there are so many awesomely-named pedals out there - some funny, some just really neat. Feel free to discuss whatever pedals you post if you want.

Here are a few of my picks:

    1. Durham Sex Drive (pretty self-explanatorily badass name - I've never tried the pedal)

    2. Subdecay Spring Theory (geekalicious name for an amazing spring reverb pedal!)

    3. Fulltone Plimsoul (excellent OD, and the name just sounds so cool)

Lounge guitars CURTIS overdrive - named for Jamie Lee Curtis who was famous early on for her scream in horror flicks. (Tubes screamer)
Menatone has a few I like too - Red Snapper, Dirty Blonde, King of the Brits, Blue Collar, Howie, Working Mans Blue, etc - just love the way they reflect the amp being modelled or the sound or whatever
Also a shout out to my custom Bob Mcbroom (RIP) HADES - two stackable mc fuzzes - there's a bit of the devil in that pedal - wails like a banshee - perfectly conceived pedal in every way.

Prunes and Custard by Crowther Audio. Haven't tried it. Afraid it would either leave me constipated or give me the sh!ts.

Jack Deville Tunnelworm Through Zero Flanger. I've always thought there should be a Tapeworm pedal, a Tape Delay simulator perhaps?

I agree that the Fulltone PlimSoul is a great sounding pedal with a great name.

Catalinbread Antichthon. Cool name for what might be a really cool and weird pedal.

    VFE Vomit Hound.

How have we got this far and not had a single mention of the super hardon or big john's hairy balls?

I saw a video for a Jack Deville prototype called IG-88 that I would buy simply on name alone. Not to mention I think it sounds pretty awesome, too!

    I second Choad Blaster.

King of the Britains is a great pedal that would have sounded even better if they had bothered to spell it right: Britons. The things that annoy me nobody cares about.

I tried one of these, but it didn't work for me. Took it back to the shop, and they tested it with their meter. They said the issue wasn't with the pedal, it was that the input level was too low. [IMG]

All kidding aside, I do like the names that Simon Jarrett has chosen for his line of pedals - with them all being based on medieval terms.
