I haven't seen a specific thread about how badass the music is in this Coors Light commercial (you know, octave riff then growling "ooh, yeah"),

but I wanted to give major props to the band J Roddy Watson and the Business after catching them on my DVR on Austin City Limits.

I need to check them out. I saw the last two minutes of their performance on Austin City Limits and it was enough to make me remember them.

the riff sounds like an an amalgamation of 'Walk This Way' and 'The Immigrant Song'.

Selling your music to a TV commercial makes an artist lose most of their credibility.

I like the song, at least what I've heard of it on the commercial. It's an obvious LZ rip-off without being plagaristic, if that's possible.....it cops LZ's feel, even Bonham's drum feel, without copying anything that can be litigious.
