Could you be happy with only two electric guitars?

Could you be totally happy and content owning only two electric guitars?
This could be either two guitars you already have or two dream guitars that you do not have yet or a combination.

Yes. My long term plan is to put humbucker size P90s back in my SG for singlecoil tones, and have a humbucker LP to go alongside it. That covers everything I need and want.

I could definitely be happy with my PRS, and Jackson Solist as my only guitars. Of course, I don't gig or play in a band. But two is fine for my needs!

I only had two guitars for most of my playing career. Only recently have I had the salary to buy more. Now at 5 but I don’t need them. My most played guitar still is a stock ‘05 MIM Strat.

Yes. I only play 2 of mine anyway. And mostly just 1

I suppose I could, as long as one was my R0, the other could be my '56 relic Strat or a really REALLY good Tele. But for what I have on hand, the first two.

Most definitely. That's how I roll. They cover some similar sonic territory but each does some stuff that the other can't. Not into the collecting aspect of guitar/gear ownership. They are tools for me to bring happiness to myself and others.

More happy than I am now with six. One of them I can't seem to give away (to an area prison!). With the remaining five, I have much more than I need. The same is true for amps, pedals, and speakers. Oy!

I only had one electric guitar for nearly 20 years...played it a bunch of bands, too...so even though I have a lot of guitars now, I could be happy with two. A Hagstrom Swede and a Tele.

If I had too - of course - but that would mean no Twelve String and only one Acoustic and Electric - it's be cool though.

Definitely… I have a few more than that and 2 dedicated slide guitars, but my DGT and Corsa Manaleshi LP I could totally be happy with, (and 1 slide guitar )

Another SG, a special, is on the way and will be in my hands on Wednesday.
I have a LP Standard and a Tele along with the two SGs pictured below.

I could be happy forever with only my SG Junior and SG Standard '61.

If you are content owning one, then you would vote Yes. Unless you have reason to believe having a second would somehow introduce more unhappiness than it would happiness.
