Not my favorite genre of music, but there are no doubt some killer lead guitarists.
Post a video of your favorite!

Although, I’m not much of a Country music listener, I know enough to know that some of the baddest, guitar-slinging mofos come from that genre. I like to think of them boys as the original “shredders”.

Many moons ago, I was fortunate enough to become friends, and later jam with, a guy that used to do some session work in Nashville. (He moved to my town to be a
Mac store manager). Needless to say, “monster” would not be an inaccurate description for this fellows aptitude on six strings. Oddly enough, his favorite band was Rush.

And if I weren’t so technologically challenged, I’d post some Gatton, Buchanan, with a dash of Roy Clark for good measure.

The man (along with Roy who was more Blues):

Two greats... Brent might be the hardest working and Johnny rips:

Two more... Brad might be the best and Keith is underrated:

Younger generation:

Old school (and Chet does a sweep arpeggio lol):

Some other greats already posted above.

subscribed! Ya know, I don't even like any country that was made after the 80's but I'll be damned if I'm not working on my banjo rolls and chicken pickin every night.

Like classic Country (I grew up with it... Dad always had it on in the car)

Cannot stand "modern" Country

Absolutely LOVE Country guitar playing though – incredible stuff
