there are two rhythm parts or riffs. I used to coordinate with a keyboard player. however now I'd like to figure out a smart version that combines the essence of both parts. Anybody know of a good example? On YouTube that is. Thanks

When I do it, I basically do the part that starts the song but instead of only single notes I add in the chord from the 2nd part. But that's the only thing from the 2nd part I play. Don't have anything on Youtube though :D

I don't know if this will be of interest to you, but I like the way this guy does it on solo cello. He just sticks to the main riff though.

I'd start with the opening, distorted part and then switch to the cleaner, funkier part once the singing comes in. The clean part and the way it fits w the bass and drums is bar far the more important of the two

That's a cool interpretation, unlike his interpretation of "flamenco."

I would play the into one (I know it's also two guitars) through it all. To me that is main riff of the song. I imagine the other one was added later for variety.

My bad on the Ezra track it's double bass not cello.
