So there were these guys...they gave me a time and place to meet them, and even booked an expensive studio for us to have a little audition in. I thought to myself, "clear communication? These guys must be total flakes." On the agreed upon date, they showed up on time, and I was like "what a bunch of a-holes."

Anyway, now I'm in the band, and I have to live with annoying crap like punctual practices, time at the pub drinking in moderation and the horrors of being in a responsible band. Shoot me now.

Sounds like a perfect opportunity to be a bad influence and send things off the rails... in true rockstar fashion!

I would have texted them from the nearest pub and asked "aren't you coming??"

I asked my luthier about it. He agreed, "buncha flakes."

My Luthier said much the same. "Practice on time? I suppose next he'll say they practice in time".

My gardener however, says "punctuality is the result of proper breeding".

Do they have a female singer who plays guitar poorly?

do they have a female signer, who is married to the guitar player,
and she loves everyone, he does too, because they have an open relationship, but they are still jealous and that creates angry arguments on stage, sometimes she storms off sometimes he does, does she or he seek you out for heart to heart talks about their spouse

because if so, I know this band,

You all take this as a bad attempt at humor. In real life, my last bass player coud have written this, and it wouldn't surprise me in the least....

if anyone in the band is deaf, you MUST have a female signer.

Ok, since I am in the band being discussed... The op showed up with a kemper saying that he had ended his tone search. However, halfway through brown eyed girl, he said he would be switching to axe fx for a more amp like tone. His custom built sadowski strat sounded great on louie louie. However, his pedal board was a red flag. He did not have all top mounted jacks and used velcro. Playing wise, I love how he superimposed the A minor pentatonic over all kinds of changes; especially the jam in B flat. Half step away is close enough. Genius. I have not seen such proficient alternate picking in years, as he smoothly switched between his pinky and index to pull out snots. Afterwards, we each had only five beers and compared notes on DUI checkpoints. This guy is a keeper.

Did they have a set of drums for you, or did you have to bring your own? :hide2
