Crazy color combinations on amps?

Help me out on this, I just don't get the nuts out there colors on the amps that people would get unless they are going to keep it for life?

I mean if you are just trying it out, why go crazy?

Maybe i am just too much of a fan of neutral colors...or I don't gig in the right places where I should have some craziness...

Yeah, I think people should at least realize that re-sale might be tougher with some color schemes than others. Of course sometimes the weird colored ones end up being collectible!

If it looks cool to you, though, and you don't mind (maybe) losing some dough, nothing wrong with it.

A bass player that gigged with me once had an amp covered mostly in purple velvet, with bright neon green flames on the grill. How is that for odd colors.
