These lighters sell three for a dollar at the dollar stores.

I always thought they were junk. They would lose pressure right away and basically become worthless.

Yesterday my friend showed me that the metal guard around the flame comes off. And the hi/lo adjustment can be lifted and replaced in a new mode. So it can be adjusted to torch, regular, and low - the setting it's in when you buy it.

I did not know these cheap lighters had those secret adjustments. It's a cool discovery and makes these lighters very cool.

Can't wait to burn something now.

I believe crack users like these lighters because of the adjustment features. Can really make that rock sizzle.

Yep. The bodegas in an old neighborhood of mine used to give them out free, with the purchase of a crack pipe.

and when I was real young, we would take the flint out and cram it into the spring so it would stay put, then light that flint to red hot with another lighter and toss it against something and it would spark and blow up and all, WOW, ok back to lighting crack rocks

If you toss those lighters high up, when they fall to the ground they'll crack and explode in a little fireball. It was pretty sweet when we were 12..

I was also told that those little glass encased roses are disguised crack pipes. There is a gas station that sells little roses, steel wool, Philly Blunts, rolling papers, whip its and lots if different types of lighters.

I know they blow up if left in a glove compartment in the car during the summer. I had 2 explode in my car.

Fer Gawd's sake. Eat some Cheezits or Ritz crackers instead. And that Coca-Cola while you're doing your homework. Hate to see the teeth on the crackhead...

We (Aussies) spell it Pyro, same as the Brits.
