Checked the past threads on AST speaker swaps and oddly seems to be no reference to anyone trying a Creamback 12M-65. Surely someone has tried one of these in an AST or AST Pro. Seeing how the stock speaker is a Greenback clone and sounds pretty good on its own, I would think a Creamback might sound pretty awesome.

I did once take a shot at trying the Creamback 12H, but it wouldn't fit in the standard cab. The 12M is smaller and should fit.

    Anyone?

I'd like to see the results of this as well. I have tried my AST through my open back 1x12 with a Creamback and it sounded great. Not really a fair comparison though, since it wasn't through the AST as well. I would like to see what the Creamback could offer that the stock speaker can't...

Looks like the new Swart Mod uses a G12M65, so I figure that's a pretty good endorsement. ;-) (Yes, I know, EL-84s, but still.)

    No response on this...

On my own I've come to the conclusion that people may think that the Creamback would basically be very similar to the stock Mojo BV-25m and maybe not even see the value in making the switch. I've reached that conclusion myself.

Might try a GB128 in there, though.
