I recently got a great deal on a '61 RI SG and as I can never leave anything alone, decided to do some aesthetic mods to it for fun. In my search for VOS, lightly aged parts I came across CreamTone on eBay and ended up emailing with Lonnie over the next week to dial in just what I wanted. Even though we chatted pretty extensively, I was still a bit skeptical (not because of Lonnie, just eBay in general makes me uncomfortable), but his prices were fair and he was really cool and informative so I decided to give it a shot. The package showed up today and I'm so stoked at the result that I thought I should share.

    Here's the loot!

Nice! I got a special pickguard for my LP Standard from Lonnie - super guy to work with and CreamTone was great to deal with!

Yeah, CreamTone has a nice touch to how they work. Just the right amount.

That's where I'll be headed for my plastics for a'nother' LP GT 60's that was parted out. So I was pleased to have found the body. This one has HB's for it instead, so now I'll have one of each.

Nice purchase on the aged metal! I would have like that, but the Aussie dollar has shut all my buying down from the States for a little whiles.
