I am wondering if it is possible to creatively use the SDTS moiunting rings for something other than a 4 conductor humbucker? As I understand it, they are basically 2 mini SPDT switches.

I have a humbucker sized P-90 pickup - it has 3 taps for different outputs.

I am wondering if I can wire teh bare and black wires to the ground part of the TS pcb like normal, and then wire in different taps to teh right solder pad to be able to select the output depending on switch location.

I would guess I can access all 3 taps, but maybe two.

Anyone done something like this? Anyone have a schematic of how the TS is actually wired?

what kind of P90 is it? 3 taps, that's interesting.

i don't see why it couldn't work; maybe one toggle chooses full/tapped, and the other chooses between two different levels of tapping.

if it was me, I'd be looking at duncans schematic site for applications as far as what each switch does
