I had this built for me by Bill Crook a few years ago - but I have my eye on a vintage piece so have to let go of a few things to make room! Get this one for less than the price of a new one, plus skip the 12 month wait!

This is a truly amazing playing and sounding guitar - and I had Bill model the neck on the specs of a 1958 Strat that I owned at the time I had it made, so it feels fantastic! It has the 2 piece maple neck, compensated saddles, Voodoo Bridge pickup, Adder neck pickup and 4-way switching (which gives you the usual 3 tele positions, plus an extra fat tone in the 4th position).

    Asking $2,800

What are the neck specs? Depth at fret 1 and 12, radius?

    Thanks!

Thickness at first fret is 0.89” - I’ll have to double check at fret 12

Neck has a compound radius - vintage spec at the nut then flattening out the higher you go

...Ugh...thanks Zesty, bad timing on cash.

That pink one is the last guitar on my dream list. For those looking...I just changed the strings on mine and was reminded how incredible this guitar is. It's been my #1 since I bought it 3 years ago. Honeymoon is way over....and I continually love playing this guitar.

Agreed. Mine's been my #1 for the past ten years. If you know anything about me, you know I go through a lot of guitars. And I am fortunate to gig a ton. The Crook is my gigging guitar 9/10 times, if not more :D

This is kinda my situation, always end up taking it to the gig - it’s actually out in the living room right now since I had it out to take the pics - having some second thoughts after playing it again!

Bill Crook makes the BEST custom guitars I have ever played (and I have played LOTS of guitars)! I have a similar Crook Paisley and it is my #1 since the day I brought it home. BTW... my #2 and #3 are also Crook guitars!

.....and it’s your fault I’m selling! Well, the 68 Tele you sold me last year - I can only keep one, and I really like that 68!!

I can vouch for this seller AND this neck profile. I got the ‘58 Strat from Mike and also had a custom Tele made cloning the ‘58 neck.
