1. The Gear Page is run by musicians for musicians. We listen, we learn and if we misstep we are not afraid to do the right thing. We proposed some changes to the Emporiums. Based on feedback from members, we have decided to not go ahead with those changes. However, it has also highlighted that we need some community input into what is working and what is not working for members here. Primarily focused on the Emporiums, we'd like input on your thoughts about TGP and how things work in the Emporiums for you and how you'd improve them. The discussion thread on the is here!

Obviously the powers that be around here have a blatant bias in favor of the Brits.

Personally, I think it's horrible that Leo Fender gets so disrespected. Where do you guys get off with that offensive new logo?

I can't say I see any particular bias. I tend to not subscribe to the views of others and develop my own opinions, often they are quite contrary to the typical rhetoric. So far nobody has shown bias against me that I know of.
I don't see Leo Fender getting slagged here. It would seem the guy is the buddah of guitar players.

And, I was pleasantly surprised by the logo, I think it is rather dashing. Very nicely designed, and very appropriate.

I was just going to post something about how I liked the new look. I think it's pretty cool.

I know the op was kidding. But if that logo was offensive to someone, then that someone must search very hard to be offended by anything they can.

Nobody is disrespecting Leo Fender here. It's just a logo for God's sake. Get over it. If this is the biggest thing you have to worry about in your life, I envy you.

    Then again, I don't.

I'm not American, OR British, and I must admit that I am failing to see the 'disrespect' to Mr. Fender here... can someone please enlighten me as to what is so offensive? :huh

Really couldn't give a rat's assets if the logo leans more Marshall than Fender or Dumble or Vox or Roland or Ampeg or Soldano or Mesa Boogie or Two-Rock or Gibson or Orange or PRS or Dr. Z or Germino or Rivera or Louis or Blackstar or Peavey or Line 6 or Trace Elliot or 65 Amps or Buddha or Victoria or Matchless or Trainwreck or Carr or even Z. Vex.

All of my main stuff is, yes. Any time I have a choice, I opt for American made. It's just my own personal thing.
