This stuff has been flying of the shelves.....until we ran out New Year's Eve.(I manage a Liquor store)

Just wondering if it is our statewide(GA) distributor not having enough for demand or a manufacturer shortage/issue.

BTW, coming from a guy who generally doesn't like flavored liquors, it's actually kind of tasty.:hide2

A friend of mine liked it so much, he bought a case. He was told it was a limited run, so he wanted to stock up.

I tried it the other day and it is good. Don't think I need a case, but it was good.

Hmmm, crown royal.... too expensive to splash with cola, not great to drink straight. Crown is just a blend like Seagrams 7 but is considered 'fancy.' Way nicer 'nice' whiskey out there, me thinks. I wouldn't spit it out though if offered a snort!

I just enjoyed a 1/4 bottle this evening. Lovely stuff. I like it neat but with ice it just tastes more refreshing. Limited run? Well, then, I'd better stockpile it...it will be far easier to get through my local stores. One of the benefits about being above the 49th.

The bottle we had at the bar went pretty quickly, especially considering the fact that most of the customers don't even know about it. Based on demand, I'd be willing to bet that they end up making it a regular item down the road.

Always enjoyed Washington Apple shots with Crown Royal as the centerpiece.

Took it a step further this year and made Crown Royal and fresh apple cider shots. WAY better than a Washington Apple. Talk about the 'real deal!'

I think after concocting the CR and Cider shots, Crown Apple might be a letdown.

The last Crown I had was Cask 16 and it was pretty nice in a manhattan. Not sure I'd do the flavoured thing though.

I used to be real anti on the flavored stuff.

    Then I tasted apple moonshine.

Then I tasted Moon Pie moonshine. Gulf Coast and it's getting to be Mardi Gras season.

Both surprisingly good. I'd give the CRA a whirl.
