I have a GCB-95 Original Crybaby Wah that works fine, but won't stay up if I want to leave it in place.

Is it the pot that's worn out? The gear? Or the rack?

If it is the pot do I replace it with the same one, or can I use the Hot Potz?

If so, what effect will it have on the sound?

Are there other pots/gears that I can play around with?

I'm really only looking to (and am competent enough to perform) the switching out of the pot. I'm not looking to do any true bypass mods, cap swaps, blah, blah, blah, because I will pooch the pedal royally.

Any places online that you order from?

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    It is not the pot.

The movement of the pedal is adjustable. Open up the bottom and look for a nut threaded on a screw coming through the bottom of the wah shell between the battery and the circuit board. You need to tighten that nut. Sometimes there are 2 nuts stacked on the screw to lock them in place and you have to loosen the top nut to get the bottom nut to move.

If I experience wah-wah lasting more than 4 hours, should I contact a physician?
