I've found when I turn the tone up on my CS-3 compressor, it acts like a really fine rangemaster,
it tightens up my signal on my Wampler Pinnacle, gives me a focused, cutting tone..
I almost dislike my Wampler without it now, it really improves the tone.

Have any of u tried this with other pedals?

I was considering trying an actual Ramgemaster pedal to experiment with more treble boosters, but I'm really open to any ideas..

im after something in s mini enclosure, board is getting full..

If you like in that role, I'd say just use the CS-3.

Nels Cline, Brent Mason, Vince Gill and others like the CS-3 just fine!

After owning many compressors, the Boss Cs-3 is my favorite. Its versatile with a good telecaster.

sounds nothing like a treble booster but's it's a really great compressor.
the CS-1 actually has a "treble" mode which cuts the bass, works great as well.
