That Dan Baird album is great. Produced by Brendan O'Brien, IIRC.

I wholly agree .. Love the production .. Simple but full and solid .. Grrreat guitar sound .. A homerun IMO

my wife's roommate back in college was a big Hoodoo Gurus fan...haven't heard that name in years!!!!

That was a blistering show . Hoodoo's in the middle kicked it off with lets all turn on . Their first SF show

Great stuff .. McKee's voice is dynamic .. Incredibly expressive .. Haunting .. And distinctively her own

I was just going to post some Lone Justice. I had the biggest crush on Maria McKee back in the day. She is one of my top two favorite female singers ever. The other is Johnette Napolitano from Concrete Blonde.
