CTS pot question

I just bought some 500k CTS pots off amazon. They are not brass shafts like I thought they were going to be but spec out at 520k and 525k. Is there any quality difference between these and the brass shaft pots?

Most manufacturers make pots with a lot of "options".
It might be that the shaft has D-shape, splines or round, that's 3 different part numbers.
Does the pot has solder lugs or are they made for PCB mounting.
Different materials in the shaft and a couple shaft diameters can also be choosen.
And so on.
Just use them.

Brass shafts will hold up to bending a bit better. This is provided you ever have to bend them in order to get the knobs to stay on.

All that matters to the guitar is what the electrical resistance is. I've bought a lot of pots this year fiddling around with different guitar projects and, to me, all I really wanted were sets that were well matched. The Art of Tone is where I get all my pots and every one he sells have brass bushings.
