I've been asked to mix a cubase project; I use digital performer, whose native format is SDII (same as pro tools), but I can import other formats.

The guys in this band aren't sure what format cubase uses.

Anyone know if cubase can export to aiff, wav, sdII or other formats?

I usually export wav from Cubase. I have never had a problem with anyone using DP. Just make sure they export mono wav files for you....

On the version of Cubase I use (SL 3.1) the internal individual track audio files are normally mono wav files.....

    Hope this helps

Depends on how it's set up...can be be 16/24/32bit, .wav or .aif

    Assuming we're talking Cubase SX1-3

FWIW, if the files aren't bounced out and you have to bring in a .cpr file have them convert it to Open TL or OMF. If they don't have access to it, holler at me.

As an update, Cubase can export to OMF files, and DP can open them. There appears to be no problem.

    Thanks again everyone!
