Here are a couple of quick vids I made using my Breedlove Passport to demo the brake, ramp-up, and tap tempo features of the Cusack, Tap-A-Whirl Trem.

(This was also a test run of my new "picture in picture" technology... aka a vanity mirror. ;) )

    Tap-A-Whirl by itself:

In Context; the Tap-A-Whirl pushing and pulling the rhythm against a short loop for a very hypnotic effect. The T-a-W comes in after the first minute:

(...and another speacial guest appearance from Kato.)

    cheers.
    :)

thanks for these videos! I've been very interested in the tap-a-whirl and now I'm sold. picture-in-picture was a nice idea as well. and I thought I was going to pass on the analogue filter pedal originally but now I'm rethinking that too. ugh.

It's not sterile if you dial it in right, but itÂ’s definitely no amp tremolo.

Thanks y'all. The above vids were using a solid state Acoustic Image, Clarus. I'll be making another demo soon, this time using my Princeton and an electric guitar. I want to show the pedal's many different waveforms.

I like the clarity of the Tilt-A-Whirl. It doesn't darken my tone like my Diaz Tremodillo did yet never gets harsh either. It seems pretty neutral either at the begging, (pre-auto filter) or end of my signal chain. When I think of "warm" trem I think of the tube circuit in my Vox and Fenders, but I wouldn't call the T-A-W sterile by any means.

Before someone asks... no I haven't tried the Empress. And to be honest, I'm not feeling the need to keep looking for trems since I got my Tilt-A-Whirl.

    :AOK:

Here's the rig used in the two vids:

The secret weapon was the bjf PGC, after the Tonefactor filter.

    Here's a better pic of the Tap-A-Whirl:

I'll be back with one more Tap-A-Whirl demo, this time showing the different waveforms.
