Custom Conklin Scroll Bass

    I just needed to share this one with you guys. A customer ordered this custom scroll bass with me quite a few months back. Here are the progress pictures for your viewing pleasure:

    Has to be one of the nicest redwood tops I have ever seen... Hope you enjoyed the share!

    Wow, very nice work. The figure didn't really jump out 'til the last one, when it had the finish applied.

    Thanks guys but the honor goes to Bill Conklin and Mike Apperson of course. It has the crazy redwood top, back, and matching headstock! Definitely one of the nicest pieces of wood I have ever seen. I am jealous of my customer who's receiving this one shortly. Now I want a guitar built with the same wood but we'll see.
