    companies like this :

    http://www.decalpaper.com/

sell the material......if you've got the skills to make your own design or know someone who does.....

    otherwise maybe someone like this:

    http://www.beldecal.com/making.cfm

check the model train guys too.....

"waterslide decal" in google ought to give you plenty to work with.....

my problem with googling "water decal" - keeps referring me to sites that have a minimum order, and i can't justify buying 50 let alone 1000 little decals when i literally only need one.

i'll keep looking - thanks for the input.

My brother is into makeing models, often from scratch and has to make some of his own decals for stuff he can't buy. He is using his PC to make the designs and then prints them with a lazer printer on blank sheets of decal film. The sfuff I have seen came out real nice.

Mite look online at hobbie stores and see if can find the blanks and mabye make you own?

I have a parts guitar I would like to do the same thing to one of these days

    Good luck-
    Craig

i seriously doubt you're gonna find anyone who'll make you just one for cheap.....

i've designed a few for friends and the inkjet sheets the model train guys use work pretty well....

that's probably your best bet...get a design together and print one with an inkjet printer....i think you can buy sheets for less then $10.....

yep.... http://www.decalpaper.com/inkjet.html has sheets starting at $7.99.....

I have done this. Make sure after you put it through the lazer printer that you put a clear coat over the top of it so when you put it in the water the ink doesn't come off. Also, print several on one paper. It is hard to get them just right. I think it took me three time to get it right last time. Good luck. Have fun.
