anybody get theirs yet? Just got mine tonight, unbelieveable.

I'm not going to try to describe the sound because tone is so subjective that I'd rather people try it for themselves and make their own inpression or they can give their feedback here. But its really cool

A review would be great actually...as a current avid user of the BB preamp, I'm really interested in this version of it. With the midboost down to zero, is it identical to the BB preamp? I think if that's the case, I'm almost sold. Any thoughts on what kind of character the midboost adds to it would be great.

No, it has a little more edgier sound, more open break up but articulate. If the BB is a Ford Mustang, then Custom Shop BB is a Mustang GT, just a little more ump when you step on the gas. The mid boost really broadens the range of the pedal's sound.

To prepare everyone, the only issue I see is those of us with fat fingers will have a issue with the small mid boost knob. But I think the sound will over shadow this.

I just heard it and it's another pedal that I'm getting.

    Catalinbread DLS = JTM
    BB Preamp MB = JCM800?

Putting the BB Preamp MB before the DLS should sound marvelous
especially with the volume boost of the BB.

Isn't GAS just beautiful this time of the year....lol!

    cheers,
    CJ

think we should call VH1 and Dr. Drew and see if they can cure us of GAS?

Can't wait to try this one out! I currently own the BB and Andy Timmons BB, would love to see what this one has to offer.

Derived or not, I really am loving the BB with humbuckers. Right now I have the Stock BB dialed for JTM 45 and the BB-AT's dialed hot, goosing up the BB-AT with the BB gives a very hot-rodded JCM-800 sound.
