Custom Suhr is Finished! On its way TOMORROW!

    Hello boys an gals.

    I just spoke with Neil today over at Suhr HQ and was informed that Mr. Ponce will be doing the final inspection tomorrow, and that it should be shipped out either tomorrow or the next day!

    In case you guys might have missed a beat, i ordered her back in October, and it is a custom Standard model.

    Here are the specs:

    Standard Body Shape

    Alder Body Wood - 1 Piece

    Slim C 1pc Quartersawn Maple Neck W/O Tint

    1 11/16 Nut Width and 10-14 inch compound radius

    Stainless Steel Jumbo Frets

    Sperzel Tuners

    SSH configuration - 2 FL standards and 1 Aldrich

    Yeah, there is something about using the middle pickup that never really jived with what i was looking for sound wise.

    One of my buddies love the middle pickup, and it sounds great when he uses it, but i have a hard time playing with it alone. Sounds too...... white bread to me i guess.

    I'm going to venture a guess that it means removing material from the pickguard that is normally beneath the fretboard hangover so that the neck need not be removed when swapping pickguards.

    are the jumbo frets the 6100's?

    Not quite sure, I just said jumbo stainless. I dont think they do SS 6000s Those are the railroad ties. Plus im used to playing a medium fret, so anything bigger will be a change for me.

    Jumbo are a just little taller than 6100 not as wide as 6000

    Due to the special switch i got put in the guitar, plus the 2nd pickguard etc, its taken a little extra time. But here are some pics Neil sent me with his camera phone. Im in love already!
