Greetings,
It's probably been a couple of years since I've posted anything here, mostly because I'm lazy. I posted about this amp when Norm (the normster) built it for me back in maybe 2006, not sure of that, but that post is long gone. So I made a short clip of it because I'm planning to sell it and I wanted your opinions on the tone.

Norm said the preamp was based on #124 and the power section was something he designed using Trainwreck iron. It has a tube rectifier, reverb, and the usual things you would find on a amp like this. But what do you guys think of the tone?

The clip is here:http://www.zuleekabengals.com/temp/dumclone/dumclip2.mp3

0:00 - clean, no pab
0:45 - OD, no pab
1;16 - OD, add pab

Yes, my playing is sloppy. For me, it's like fishing. Sometimes I actually catch something!

Thanks in advance,
Loren

Well, that's as good a representation of the circuit as any.
I have a couple of D'lites already or I'd be tempted.
The PAB is not honky at all and the overall sound is rich and throaty.
I'm listening to the clean and thinking, he's got that going on, and was anticipating the all too common nasal OD but then that sounded right as well.
May the quick sale be with you.

Thanks for the feedback. Someone on TGP contacted me and it is sold. Now, he's enduring the "wait" for UPS. :)
