I need to locate a D13 Dyna Ranger:BEER
I traded mine in for a Phoenix Custom Ranger. Very similar (socketed tranny, tone control) and it sounds a little nicer, and is cheaper.
might have better luck posting in the emporium.
good luck though, it's a fantastic pedal!!!
What do you like better about the Phoenix? I have the DR and think it's pretty nice as long as you are running into either an overdriven amp or and OD pedal. It is maybe a tad on the harsh side, but it sounded way better than the Keeley version when I a/b the two.
One just popped up in the Emporium for $125, which IMHO is a super great price. What're you waiting for?!?
I love mine to death, Fred makes great stuff.
oops sorry guys wrong place. I will delete this later today since there is a bit of a discussion going on.
I had a harshness and a presence I could not dial out of my Dynaranger. My current PCE Ranger has a tone knob, which sweeps between the caps, rather than a 5 position switch, which is great. It is the same overall tone, and I think the Ranger has a similar transistor, but for some reason it does not set my teeth on edge like my Dynaranger.
