Years ago, this was a good product.

Now you go buy a pack and they're mis-labeled, all the sizes are terrible, (and no I didn't want a variety pack), they crinkle when you try to pull the sticky cover off, and they don't stick worth a damn anymore. I shouldn't have to use scotch tape to hold it together.

No idea what you're talking about. And the ACTIV-FLEX® Band Aids are absolutely amazing. Pure magic.

I wish they still came packaged in the flip-top metal boxes.

Here for now, Europe when I die. Am I dead yet?

That's how the first fuzz boxes were built...using Bandaid metal tins.

Kinda like Altoid tins. I got a couple laying around because I was just sure I would find some great use for them.

    Months later, nada.

Yep, the OP is buying the wrong ones...activ-flex or fabric is the way to go. I prefer the fabric ones, but either type stays on as long as you need it to.

As A kid, They were great for fishing hooks, flys, small spinners, split shot,
Your best marbles, BBs for your air rifle...targets for your air rifle...

Later on they were great joint holders as well as pick holders.

They made good traveling firstaid/ survivor kits too...

Leave a few bandaids in, small antiseptic tube...cotton ball, fishing line, hooks, matches...pretty much waterproof too.

It all went south when they changed their jingle from:
"I'm stuck on band-aid, 'cause band-aid's stuck on me."
    to:
"I'm stuck on band-aid BRAND, 'cause band-aid's stuck on me."
    That ruined everything.
