DADGAD been enjoing it for 2 months now

    Go to my website. There is a tune called Highland Jig that I think you will like. It's in DADGAD tuning. I love DADGAD!

    DADGAD always sounds too pretty to me for some reason. I love open G (DGDGBD) and I do a lot in CGCGCE which is really dark and skanky when done right.

    DADGAD is one of my favorite tunings. Although recently I've been messing with B F# C# F# A# D#.

    i tuned my dano that way to keep me from playing the same stuff every time i pick it up. i like it.

    I really love alternate tunings. My faves are Double-Drop D & DGCGCD.
    The lower C tunings are great also.

    Bensusan is the absolute master of this tuning. He doesn't use anything else. Such a fabulous musician.
