Anybody know where to get one? Seems to be discontinued. I got one of the early Cool Cats on Ebay recently. Sounds great, but it eats thru 2 9v batteries in no time flat.

I bought the battery clip adapters for my OneSpot, but that didn't work. I have no idea why.

    If I can't find a DA-2 or alternative, I guess I'll have to look into rechargable 9vs....

I think I still have one. Let me dig in the basement tonight, and I'll see if I can find it.

However, somebody once said that Radio Shack sells an 18v that does the job...

You'd have to check the plug sizes, but I know Dunlop makes a regulated 18V adapter as well.

I have a Cool Cat that I bought new in '98 (is that "early"?) and the Dunlop 18 volt adaptor fits it just fine.

Seems like RadioShack does not carry an 18v adapter, but Dunlop still makes one. I'd prefer "the real deal", so hopefully cvansickle had some luck :)

...i love my 18-volt cool cat, despite the inconvenient power supply. i had an opportunity to directly a/b it with the very expensive tc electronics chorus/flanger. the difference was negligible, but not the price ($50 vs $400).
