pioneered by Uma Floresta from Harmony Central. you replace two resistors so that you can control the delay time and feedback of the delay chip. oh hell yes, people. heres pics of the mod i did to mine tonight:

and heres Uma's original mod pics and explanation:

the spring king is already a great reverb, and this just bats it out of the park!

Nice work man - looks cool and should get some great new sounds. There is a similar sort of mod you can do to the Dano Fab Echo - which has a PT2399-type chip in it too. Sounds pretty cool and lo-fi. Check out these out:

I've seen another mod too for the Dano Fab Chorus that turns it into a Chorus with delay. The guy calls it the "Heaven Mod." Sounds great:

Another good mod is to add some RCA jacks to the side, and DPDT switch so you can switch between the internal tank and a larger external tank. You can even use both together, in parallel.

    External tank:

    Two tanks in parallel:

In this recording, the small tank had been hastily rewired and wasn't passing full signal, so it might sound a bit fuller in real life with both tanks getting the full signal.

That's really cool, though I'd have to get another FAB chorus to try it. It's become my go-to chorus.

Yeah, there not too bad. I had one on my board until I got the new Cool Cat CC-1 and that blew the Fab Chorus away, especially with dirt tones. I think the Cool Cat is just a bit more organic sounding and I like the eq knob. Still, for the price ( I paid $10 AU S/H for mine), the Fab is a really good unit. I'm gonna do the Heaven mod on my Fab Chorus; just 'cause it sounds pretty cool in that clip and I don't like having pedals sitting idle when I could be using them for something.

Guys, sorry for ressurrecting this post, but I just got a Fab Chorus and wanted to try the HEAVEN MOD, but in every site I go, there's the same photobucket link, which is not loading....

Does anyone here have the mod saved in way that it could be shared?

    Thanks in advance
