Hey folks just got my new Danocaster in and thought I would share some pics and a quick review of the guitar......Man this thing sounds great with any amp.....I play in a country band out here in Phoenix A.Z. and was looking for a really good punchy, twangy sounding guitar and man did Dan deliver......I have been through various custom shop builders ( 3 to be exact and when I had received those guitars was quite disappointed with the overall build quality and tone of the guitar)......Looked on here at some of the reveiws on Dan's stuff and decided to take another try at it .....told him what kind of sound I was looking for ( Classic country twangy sound to be exact ) and that was all she wrote.....So if anyone is looking for a great guitar and this is one of the best ones I have ever played, Dan is your man......These guitars are also about 5 to 700 dollars cheaper than what i payed for these other custom shop guitars and this one blows them outta da water.......I will definately be purchasing another guitar from Dan here shortly as a backup and if you just give him a call and tell him what tone you are after he will nail it to the tee....I believe now as far as what kinda sound i was looking after it comes from the guitar because no matter what amp i play this through it still has that nice twangy tone to it .....Heck I played through my 30 watt Gdec and this guitar sounds great through it......Well thanks alot Dan for ending my qwest on trying out guitars i was going through alot of money as well and found a better guitar, value, and build quality in the end......You da Man........thanks, Bryan.

And you BET he charges... he doesn't make them for free!! :roll

But seriously, if you want a quote-- just PM / Email Dan. He's the BEST I've ever dealt with as far as communication.

When Dan posts one for sale in the Emporium, they run ~$1600-1700 plus shipping.

    Is that Sonic Blue?

As soon as I get around to selling my Edwards Tele and saving some cash, I'm asking Dan to build me a late-60s Esquire - Inca Silver or Sonic Blue, alder + rosewood, suitable for fuzz. Lots and lots of fuzz.

Hey thanks fellas for the comments .....Yeah I wish I could take the credit on this one but it's all Dan that should take the credit.......I know alot of these custom shop guitars look really nice whether they are reliced or not but this plays as nice as it looks and I really can't believe the price he sells these for......Folks you will not be disappointed if you recieve one of Dan's guitars especially if you have tried out quite a few custom shop ones already and were disappointed ......If i get some time I will try and post some clips and you can get an idea of what it sounds like and what i mean by just a great sounding guitar......Dan when I purchase my second guitar from ya I expect when i come down to Nashville you will put me up in a 5 star hotel with all ammentities (did I spell that right?) as well as maybe some fine dining, and some Grand Ole Opry tickets.....I know that's just the kinda guy you are and you would do that for your customers right ? HA HA ......thanks again guys and yeah just shoot Dan an email on the price of the guitar you want him to build, he's got ya covered .....c ya Bryan.
