I had a 1987 50 watter with the Mod/rework II, yes they do sound very nice :) plenty of gain on tap.
The amp cleans up remarkably well with the volume on the guitar and the PPIMV works a treat.
Here`s a clip Dave did with my amp before shipping it out to me, i had him mod the amp with a tight low end.

    I Have a 73 50 watt with Bray mod.
It will get you what you hear on those clips, plus if you back off the amp volume some it will give you some other great flavors of lighter gain.and if you go to the low gain input it has some great cleans and up to ACDC.
    Love it!

Probably one of the best Marshall modders out there...
My friend has a Bray Plexi that is amazing.
I've played about a half dozen Cameron ones, and they fall very very short of the Brays.

I bought a 1959SLP reissue 100 watter modded with the Bray I mods, from a fellow forumite. Man does it rip!!!! I use it through a 1960TV cab(greenbacks) and it roars. I can get anything from AC/DC, to Zep, to early VH. And when you roll your guitar volume off it cleans up really well without losing volume! This had is a keep no matter how strapped I get for cash with GAS! It sounds like what I have always wanted my Tone to sound like! Mine has the PPIMV mod, cascade interanlly jumped channels, and push pull volume pots for treble boost(which I love!) and treble cut. I run mine with the Master on about 8, Bright channel volume on 8, and normal channel volume on 4, and attenuate it back a bit with a HotPlate. Sweet!

Telewacker's is listed in our amps/cabs emporium and it's currently listed on ebay due to lack of response on TGP..current bid price is $1100 for a 100watt bray mod II.

I was over at his house last week and played it..my review is listed on his thread in the emporium. It's totally clean...I wish I was buying it. You can trust Telewacker. I have bought from him.

+1000 again for David! Great guy to have work done by!

The first clip has some additional mods I wanted done that are not his atypical mod. I had him add more treble (sizzle) and more gain. Maybe only about 20% more... slight but enough for my needs. Additionally I had him add a Line Out and a Power Amp In for more options for me.

Here's a clip of mine in the latest form...

Here's a clip of mine with his Mod II when I got it....

I run mine usually through the same type cab as David. mid-70's Marshall cab with Blackback 25 watters. David is playing the clips which he posts for approval for each of his clients.

Splawn is way more aggressive and has more of its own voicing. Bray stays truer to its Marshall heritage.

I've had the opposite experience. Dave is a cool guy and the mod I got from him was very good. But to my ears, when the Bray is overdriven, the notes mush together too much compared to any of the Cameron mods. IMO, the Cameron has way more balls also.

Randy on this forum had some killer sound clips of Cameron's Jose mod. I don't know what happened to those clips. Other than that, I haven't seen too many Cameron clips.
