Halfway in. Then back out. Classy.
I am sure that a not just a few fans were going "what the hell is he playing? - oh NO! a trainwreck!!!" before cottoning-on that it was a tribute to Prince.
A sweet, wonderful thought. Unfortunately it sounded strange.
That was very cool.
Word is that it didn't go as planned (there was supposed to be a vocal section).
Apparently Gilmour performed this song when backing Tom Jones years ago.
That was boss!
A fitting tribute, by a brilliant man!
My favorite guitarist of all time paying tribute to the guy who inspired me to play. That's a huge show of respect to Prince, right there.
Interestingly, they both have a lead style that can be mournful, and make the hair on your arms stand up.
That ending solo still gives me goosebumps. Everything about it is perfect.
No need for words. How could it be more appropriate? Brilliant.
Yep almost made me cry. That was a great thing.
