Come on slap, billionaires don't lie! He's totally legit.

My best friend did 4 miles on an ankle he didn't know was broken in Marine basic on the Island. A tightly-laced boot clearly helped, but he's also a determined little SOB.

But he never tried to create a self-help empire on it. He's just a prisoner of his own mind. Who happens to do cancer research, even on non-billionaires.

He's not about spelling and grammar much though. Right brotato chip?

Seriously, the breh/bro isn't helping, brah.

Is this the discipline you're hoping to master?

Who said I was trying to master discipline. I actually am trying to master dealing with trolls. My patience is growing immensely just from our conversation thanks for all your help!

You're the one making extraordinary claims here. If you want to convince anyone, the burden of proof lies with you.

I'm not trying to convince anyone of anything. I'm just saying this is a great book and this guy has mastered suffering in many ways which made him a great man. Honestly, I'm trying to master dealing with trolls it's working well here.

It's not trolling to explain to you what an objective study is and asking you if there are any. I'm quite into self-improvement - I'm just also on the lookout for hucksters, of which there are many. If you have anything besides what's on the dust jacket of the books, I'm all ears. Otherwise...

Halfway through the audio book. It's good. Although I'd disagree that it's not a 'self-help' book. It is, just not in the 'power of positive thinking' way.

What I love about it is that it's an anecdote to generation snowflake / generation beta. It's not about self-love, acceptance or participation trophies. It's about overcoming obstacles through discipline, suffering and persistence. Its about confronting difficult and uncomfortable situations as a rule. I think as soft as our generation has become both physically and mentally - this outlook is welcome. Many parts seem. To dovetail much of Jordan Peterson's teachings also.

    Thanks for the recommendation OP!

Like most military guys he's a quiet professional around his military service. In regards to service I would say raising over 2 million dollars to send people's kids who die on the battlefield to college is a pretty good start.

You are so right on face your own fears through his accountability mirror process. Use his suffering techniques to master your mind if you can overcome great suffering you can achieve anything you are capable of in life. That would be my summary.
