David Grissom did a brief stint in the Allmand Bros. Does anyone have any video or recording of him during this time?

I'd be really interested in hearing that.

I saw him with the ABB @ Great Woods, filling in for Dickey. I also went the previous night... Zakk Wylde filled in for Dickey. Talk about two different approaches! I'm sure there's audio from the Grissom show available. I have the Zakk show on audio.

Here's "Dreams" with Zakk from the show I attended... http://youtu.be/-i9TsvpTnO8 Grissom played the second night, and a few more shows until Dickey got out of jail. Grissom played everything note for note pretty much. Zakk just came on full blast. The two shows could not have been more different. I enjoyed both.

Ha I have the Zak show and its pretty good til he, sounding drunk, goes CRAZY...perhaps a little too twiddly. Still good show and fun to listen too.

I can't listen to that Zakk show it all. He never played for the songs. He seemed to play for himself IMO.

    I've got it, quite good.

Grissom learned the songs on the plane to the gig so he's a little tentative, but it does have some great moments.

Anybody know the youtube link or date when DG played with them? I remember seeing it on youtube, but can't seem to locate it now.

On another note... here his the DG band playing Elizabeth Reed a week or so ago. Not sure who the other guitarist is... but that dude is awesome, too. Looks like a pretty small venue... but they are killing it!

No, he learned them in his bedroom as a kid. He reviewed them on the plane.
