David Ryan Harris Signature Amp - NAMM 2017 // Port City Amplification

We're stoked to announce on TGP that we will be officially unveiling a new amplifier design at 2017 NAMM! For the past several months we've been working with David Ryan Harris on a design featuring tube reverb and tube vibrato. David told us he wanted "an amp that had songs in it" - so we set out to build just that. It wields a lush tube-based spring reverb that can almost get to the point of an ethereal wash. We've also added a true pitch-altering tube vibrato with three available speeds and a control for intensity. Of course, the amp is also designed to be a great pedal platform with simple tone and volume controls, high and low inputs, and a significant amount of headroom that smoothly transitions into a very usable overdrive. All of this is powered by a pair of 6L6WGC's with a GZ34 rectifier, measuring around 50W and loud enough to hold its own on stage of the upcoming John Mayer tour. A future release will likely include power scaling as well.

We cant wait to show this one off at NAMM, so come find us at Hall E, Booth 1498 to hear it and play it in person. Official demos and other videos will be coming in early 2017.
