    He did an appearance on Spongebob not too long ago.

    I was all of 12 and I remember how excited I was to leave the shoe store with my MONKEE boots.

    I was in heaven. I was now cool.

    The Monkees. End of an era. Unique and wonderful.

    I watched The Monkees religiously every Saturday morning when I was a kid. Loved that show!

    Eating a TV dinner in a oven heated aluminum pan and watching the Monkees. I got to stand next to Davy and Sally Field at the Teeanage fair in LA. First time I felt tall.

    RIP Davy.
