Hoping the new album is good. They really lost me at A Blessing and a Curse.
The big to do, brighter than creations dark and gogo boots are all great, just getting a bit more back to their roots.

I love DBT, possibly the best band out there at the moment

I was with them up until Brighter Than Creations Dark but that album was in need of some serious editing. I bought Big To Do, but never got to accurately evaluate as it was stolen soon after. After Isbell left, it seemed that the hooks and songwriting suffered. The creative three-way tension between Cooley, Hood and Isbell produced some great albums.

I Liked A Blessing and a Curse.

Might give this new one a chance.
